Flock Development was formed in 1973 to commercialise Electrostatic Flocking technology by applying it to the field of paint application. By adopting a policy of constant research and development many new products have now been developed to meet the ever changing requirements of the paint industry.

In addition, the company has extended the use of its technology into other fields and has developed many other unique high performance items which include non abrasive cleaners, other cleaning products and both air conditioning and acoustic filtration products.

The Directors have backgrounds in International Marketing and Finance and their skills have combined to build an extremely strong forward looking company. Substantial investment has been made in new up-to-date plant and machinery which has resulted in improved output and quality. The company’s continued growth is illustrated by the fact that it now exports to over 40 countries worldwide.

The diverse and rapid changes in paints for various substrates has led to the company developing a large range of pads and rollers tailor made to suit the particular paint or application. A variety of flock, foam and adhesive combinations are used to ensure the best possible results, many products being independently tested in the USA to ensure the best available performance and quality.

Many of the company’s product ranges are available from stock, but it has long been the Directors policy to work with their customers to ensure the correct individual, technical and marketing requirements.
